Cork is a natural material that comes from the bark of the cork oak tree, with unique and incomparable qualities that no ingenious human has yet managed to copy or improve. Its cell structure resembles a honeycomb, enabling it to act as a natural thermal and sound insulator and also providing shock absorbing properties.
The uniqueness of Dekwall wall coverings was achieved by integrating two cork layers with different purposes. The thicker layer is made with agglomerated cork and is used as a backing, providing superior comfort, noise reduction and warmth. The decorative veneer is a thin sheet of cork, created by combining various shapes of natural cork, achieving genuine and authentic visuals full of personality. For increased protection, the visual is coated with a waxed or varnished finishing.
The Special MDFACADE is a special range of cork agglomerates, which is characterized by the different decorative patterns that it offers.
Unlike the MDFACADE, SPECIAL MDFACADE is indicated for a decorative application in interior spaces, allowing the natural appearance of the cork in sight, but with original decorative patterns.
